Automated Handoff Report Communication

Improve Handoff Report Efficiency

By automating the way you deliver handoff reports you can reduce the time needed for hand-off communication. Anytime during a shift Caregivers can enter and append reports with new information. Improve Patient Care Updated patient conditions are immediately available for review. MyBedside Report gives you more time to focus on patients.

Ensure Joint Commission Compliance

Standardize hand-off communication enterprise-wide. Managers and supervisors can monitor the hand-off process 24 hours a day seven days a week.

HIPAA Secure

Patient health information is protected. Access is only available to those with proper id and password.

How it Works

To enter a handoff report caregivers login with their id and password and speak responses to a series of customized voice prompts. Reporting methodologies such as SBAR (Situation, Background, Assessment, and Recommendation) can be implemented to ensure a standard format for each report.

To receive or listen to a handoff report, caregivers gain access to MyBedside Report with a user id and password then enter the patient ID and listen to applicable reports. Caregivers can navigate through the reports by speeding up, slowing down, pausing or replaying certain sections as needed. This process ensures immediate access to patient information and increases the efficiency of handoff reporting.

Increase Revenue

Recently the Comptroller of a 233 bed Hospital in Texas stated, “During our last board meeting nurse/patient documentation and reimbursement was discussed. We identified that the hospital lost $950,000 in reimbursements because there was not a method in place for nurses to correctly document the patient record”. MyBedside Report provides the tools needed to effectively improve documentation and increase reimbursements.

The patient’s emergency contact, or medical guardian, is solely responsible for distributing the phone number and personal access code to friends and family members, compliant with HIPPA rules.
