Kozie's Coding Corner
In 1998, Kozie left the traditional hospital setting and moved to Charlotte, N.C. to start a new career in sales and consulting in dictation, speech recognition, document and revenue cycle management solutions. And continues to serve on the NCHIMA [North Carolina Health Information Management] Executive Board as the Public Relations Chairman and most recently was elected as the Charlotte Regional Coordinator. Kozie is a part of the NCHIMA and SCHIMA Speakers Bureau and has had numerous speaking engagements throughout the Southeast. Currently, Kozie is the Computer Assisted Coding Product Specialist and Territory Sales Manager for Digital Voice Systems in the Carolinas. News! Fusion CAC Update: Important News! “Last year, 3M Health Information Systems announced new requirements for vendors who interface to their 3M™ Coding and Reimbursement System (CRS). The final requirement was to sign an Interface License Agreement. Dolbey completed the requirements and signed an Interface License Agreement with 3M on Feb. 2nd, 2012. This Agreement licenses both existing and new interfaces between Dolbey’s Fusion CAC and the 3M Coding and Reimbursement System (CRS).” GREAT ARTICLE!
